About Us

Abundant Life Chapel Liberia Orphanage, Inc (ALCL Orphanage) is a 501(c)(3) charity organization established to solicit help and donations in the United States to primarily finance ALC, Liberia Orphanage and Scholarship Programs for Vulnerable, Destitute and Disadvantage Liberian Children. Brother Wilmot Ben Yalartai established ALCL Orphanage, Inc in pursuit of his passion to help the poor children and people of his native land, Liberia.

During the Ebola Virus Disease epidemic in Liberia 2014, his ministry ALC, Liberia provided apposite carefor 110 (one hundred ten) Ebola orphans at the orphanage of Abundant Life Chapel Children's Welfare Center (ALCCWC). He personally financed the Orphanage ALCCWC and this depleted his finances. He was compelled to send 56 (fifty-six) orphans away due to lack of funding.

Due to his passion for these orphans, he did not want to send away the remaining 54 (fifty four) orphans out of 110 (one hundred ten) orphans originally under the care of his ministry ALC, Liberia, he returned to the United States on June 18, 2016 to temporarily work and provide support for them until permanent funding is established at which time he will return to Liberia to pastor his church. His ministry had earlier returned 56 (fifty six) of these Ebola orphans back to poor relatives of deceased parents for lack of funding, which was devastating. And sending away the balance 54 orphans was inconceivable. He was employed by Companions and HomeMakers Berlin Office, Connecticut as a Live-in Caregiver on Dec. 10, 2016. Most of his wage earned is transferred weekly through Money Gram and Western Union to the Orphanage, to purchase food, medication, clothes, books, uniforms and school materials for the children. One Body One Hope (OBOH) sponsorship funds for 41 orphans, go directly toward salaries for all the employees of the institution.

Bro. Wilmot's desire is to restore the hope of these children after the tragic deaths of their parents, to have good education and a godly upbringing. This will give them a better future and enable them to serve humanity. Abundant Life Church, AG, 85 Skinner Rd, Colchester, CT 06415 pastored by Charles F. Brown in collaboration with Bro Wilmot is organizing a mission trip to visit the orphanage in January 2018.

He also included Widows Feeding Program for 135 (hundred thirty five) widows, who lost their husbands during the civil war in Liberia and the Rehabilitation of Substance Abuse (victims) Men and Women also created by the 14 (fourteen) years of civil war.

Our Vision

Our vision is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. we endeavor to save lives through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior and give hope to the hopeless. We also want to restore hope to orphans, abandoned and venerable children in the nation of Liberia. Proverbs 22:4-6 KJV “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

If we can educate and train children in a godly manner, we can transform Liberia as a country. Because children are future leaders for any country, they can contribute and participate in its development, fulfilling their God ordained purpose. Then, we can make Liberia, Africa and the World at large free from confusion and war, poverty, wickedness, sickness, disease and dependency. Then, we can make Liberia, the world a better place for all, a place where the fear and the love of God radiate into peace, unity and love, enabling all to live together in harmony.

Our vision is to also help the poor and needy in Liberia, where war, sin, poverty and disease have ravaged its people.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to destroy the works of the devil. Due to war, sin and poverty in Liberia, disease, abject poverty and calamity are prevalence in our society today. We strive and endeavor to meet the needs of the poor, orphans, abandoned, disadvantaged and venerable children.

Our mission is to seek the well being widows, establish rehabilitation programs for substance abused men, and women (victims).

We have been given authority by Jesus Christ over Satan. Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John‬ ‭14:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Satan has been completely defeated on the cross of Calvary by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The word of God says:

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians‬ ‭2:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“.......For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the." devil.” 1 John‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As Believers, we have been commissioned by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to do greater works against the enemy. Therefore we venture to redeem those Satan has targeted, attacked and determined to destroy, including but not limited to children. Jesus said:
“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke‬ ‭10:18-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬
